Rahzan-e-Himmat Huwa Zauq-e-Tan Asani Tera

Beher Tha Sehra Mein Tu, Gulshan Mein Misl-e-Joo Huwa

Your love for indulgence became a robber of courage

You were an ocean in wilderness, in garden a brook you became

Apni Asliyat Pe Qayam Tha To Jamiat Bhi Thi

Chor Kar Gul Ko Preshan Karwaan-e-Boo Huwa

When you stood firm in your purity, you had the nation also

Caravan of fragrance after leaving the rose scattered became

Zindagi Qatre Ki Sikhlati Hai Asrar-e-Hayat

Ye Kabhi Gohar, Kabhi Ansu Huwa

The life of the drop has lessons of the secrets of life

Sometimes pearl, sometimes dew, sometimes tear it became

Phir Kahin Se Iss Ko Paida Kar, Bari Doulat Hai Ye

Zindagi Kaisi Jo Dil Begana-e-Pehlu Huwa

Obtain it from somewhere it is a great wealth

What good is life if the heart unaware of bosom became

Aabru Baqi Teri Millat Ki Jamiat Se Thi

Jab Ye Jamiat Gyi, Dunya Mein Ruswa Tu Huwa

Your honor depended upon the organization of the Millat

When this organization departed, disgraced world wide you became

Fard Qayam Rabt-e-Millat Se Hai, Tanha Kuch Nahin

Mouj Hai Darya Mein Aur Bairun-e-Darya Kuch Nahin

The individual is firm by nation’s coherence, otherwise nothing

The wave is only in the ocean, and outside it is nothing

رہزنِ ہمّت ہُوا ذوقِ تن آسانی ترا

بحر تھا صحرا میں تُو، گلشن میں مثلِ جُو ہوا

اپنی اصلیّت پہ قائم تھا تو جمعیّت بھی تھی

چھوڑ کر گُل کو پریشاں کاروانِ بُو ہوا

زندگی قطرے کی سِکھلاتی ہے اسرارِ حیات

یہ کبھی گوہر، کبھی شبنم، کبھی آنسو ہُوا

پھر کہیں سے اس کو پیدا کر، بڑی دولت ہے یہ

زندگی کیسی جو دل بیگانۂ پہلو ہوا

آبرو باقی تری مِلّت کی جمعیّت سے تھی

جب یہ جمعیّت گئی، دنیا میں رُسوا تُو ہوا

فرد قائم ربطِ مِلّت سے ہے، تنہا کچھ نہیں

موج ہے دریا میں اور بیرونِ دریا کچھ نہیں
